The job in the project,
estimating from direct costs

Emails in one mailbox, drawings on the file server, site reports on paper, estimates in a spreadsheet. I publish Odoo modules that bring the job back into its project, and a construction estimating software.

The starting point

A job lives in ten tools.
The project sees only one

A construction company already manages its jobs somewhere: often in the Odoo Project app, sometimes in a spreadsheet. What makes the job, though, stays elsewhere: exchanges with the client in a shared mailbox, drawings on the file server, inspection and site visit reports on paper, the estimate in a workbook only its author can read.

Each of these tools works. What costs is keeping them apart: people search, copy, and lose the history when a site manager leaves.

I know this ground from the inside: I was a manager in a construction engineering firm twice, once in electrical engineering, once across all trades. I learned a great deal there, and saw what the teams were missing. That is where the tools I develop come from: built for the people who estimate, run and deliver the job.

I do not replace your organisation. I link what exists to the project, one module at a time.

One more tool fixes nothing. A tool linked to the project does.

What I offer

Modules that sell on their own

Each module works on its own. Two modules bought together are linked by a bridge module, installed automatically at no extra cost.

01 · Construction suite for Odoo
Project Inbox, a shared inbox per project, published on the Odoo Apps Store. Project Folder, the file server folder shown inside the project, to be published. Field Forms, field forms filled in on site with optional photos and signature, in development. Then come Project Cost BTP for estimating, Project Quote BTP for progress invoicing, Project Agenda, Project Planning BTP for planning, and Project Dashboard BTP, the job dashboard.
02 · Estimating
CostooBTP estimates a job from direct costs to selling price, then the discount. It comes as SaaS, on a dedicated instance I host and run, for companies without Odoo. Companies whose Odoo accepts a module take Project Cost BTP: the same estimating, opened from its menu.
03 · Roll-out
Installation, configuration and team training, remotely. Configuring the rest of your Odoo around the modules is part of Odoo support.
04 · Models and drawings
A workshop in preparation: an IFC model built step by step, 2D drawings taken from the model, quantities sent to the estimate. It is not offered yet; I show it as it is built on LinkedIn.

Roll-out

The company's estimating method reproduced as is, checked line by line against its reference workbook; one dedicated instance per group company, two-factor sign-in, daily backup.

What remains

Estimating no longer depends on one file or its author: every estimator starts from the same method, and the discount is decided on figures everyone reads the same way.

Questions

What I get asked about construction

For the construction suite and Project Cost BTP, yes: they are Odoo 19 modules, Community or Enterprise, on Odoo.sh, self-hosted or on-premise. Odoo Online does not accept third-party modules. CostooBTP needs nothing: it is a dedicated instance I host, and you do not see Odoo.
No. It estimates: from direct costs to selling price, then the discount. The quote is made in your management software, and sending estimates to your own Odoo is planned.
Yes, each on the Odoo Apps Store, and each works on its own. When two complementary modules are installed, the bridge module that links them installs itself, at no extra cost.
That is the workshop in preparation: an IFC model, the open BIM format, drawings taken from the model and quantities sent to the estimate. It is not offered yet. I show it as it is built on LinkedIn.
